That's A Wrap -End of year blog

Here is the 2016 round up Blog – or the start of a fantastic 2017 for the Event Style Team.

2016 has been a great year for Event Style and we are grateful for all our lovely customers allowing us to be part of their special events. From stunning weddings though out the year, to fun filled corporate parties and elegant baby showers. We really have had the most fun planning and styling over the last 365 days.

So, to ensure that Event Style continues to go from strength to strength we thought we could set ourselves some New Year resolutions to make sure we are always striving to improve the services and products we offer all of you.

  1. Plan Ahead - We are always talking about planning as this helps with budgets, getting the venue and suppliers that you want but also ensuring you don't get stressed. So, we are making sure we take on all our own advice and forecast a plan. From new stock, services, team members or even simple things like ordering more business cards. We will make sure we are always planning to give you the best tips, prices and information in plenty of time.

  2. Keeping our website current - We are very proud of our new website and continually trying to make improvements. We will always have our up to date wedding fayres, monthly blogs and stock lists. But is there something missing that you think would really improve the site? This is something we would love to hear your feedback to make sure there isn't a trick that we are missing.

  3. Strive for perfection - Now this may not be possible but we are always going to try and improve the service we offer to all of you. This can be from the customer experience, easy ways to make contact, to simple systems to make payment. Any feedback you can provide us to make sure that in 2017 we are upping our game and continuing to be the very best in dressed events please just let us know.

  4. Face to Face Meetings. We all know that email and the use of our phones can be the most effective way to get information across to each other. Social Media has also been a great tool for us to share exactly what we are doing on a day to day. However, we love meeting all of you face to face and it really helps when helping planning and styling your event. Where we can't meet you in person we will always use technology to our best advantage and schedule in a Skype call. We will look to add this into our customer experience and a potential feature on our website.

  5. Learn one new skill. Old dogs can really learn new tricks. We will invest in training the team in new ways of improving what we offer. This could be something as simple as the new stylish way of knotting a chair sash. Or it could be learning a new language - possibly French as we will be styling our first wedding in a beautiful Chateau. What ever it may be we will always makes sure we are on top of our game and skills.

  6. Attending major industry events. A big part of success in ours and any business is to never stop learning from others. Not only that, but keeping ahead of the trends ensuring we have the latest colour palettes, relationships with suppliers and the must haves when it comes to props and styling elements for your special day. We want to always be able to give ideas and suggestions that will give any event that little bit of extra sparkle.

Finally, although not a resolution, we will always continue to love what we do and working with all of you. It really makes whatever the future holds very exciting.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the suppliers, venues and partners who have helped make this year such a success and a special thank you to our customers, without whom we could not continue to improve our service. 2017 will be a pivotal year for Event Style, as we are able to offer so much more for all our customers.

Happy 2017 everyone and we can't wait to see what exciting events we bring to life this year.
